Im a physician with a good understanding of pulse oximetry, so I was skeptical that this passive imaging would work. IT WORKS! The optical signal from facial imaging precisely tracks my radial pulse. It can image off the palm of a hand in addition to face. Quite remarkable!

Does not work well at all. Save your money! buy 2 songs on Itunes.... you will be happier!

I have a ipad version that is way better as a user interface which gives an average heart rate over a specific time. This app is too variable and does not give you a concistant reading. Also too expensive for what it does. Needs way more features.
